AYTWorld EULA

This End User License Agreement (EULA) governs the use of AYTWorld, a free and open-source software (FOSS) open-world, story-driven video game developed by AddisonYT04 ("AYT04" for short) (the "Developer"). By downloading, installing, or using the game, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA.

  • Grant of License: The Developer grants you a non-exclusive, royalty-free, non-transferable license to use the game solely for personal and non-commercial purposes.
  • Ownership and Intellectual Property: All title, ownership, and intellectual property rights in and to the game, including but not limited to design, code, and content, are owned by the Developer and its licensors.
  • FOSS and Open Source Components: As a FOSS project, the game may contain open-source software components subject to their respective license agreements. You agree to abide by the terms of those agreements.
  • Data Collection and Privacy: AYTWorld is designed with user privacy in mind. We do not collect, sell, or share any personal or usage data from users. The game does not contain any telemetry or analytics services. However, since AYTWorld uses Peer2Peer Technology for server sided actions, please consider using a safety net (VPN, Virtual Private Network) while playing AYTWorldOnline.

    This video above explains Peer2Peer in Video Games, like Grand Theft Auto V Online.

  • No Warranties: The game is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the game is with you.
  • Limitation of Liability: The Developer shall not be liable for any damages, including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the game, even if the Developer has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
  • Modification and Distribution: As a FOSS project, you are permitted to modify and distribute the game's source code in accordance with the applicable open-source license(s), provided that you comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to copyright and intellectual property laws.

  • By installing, copying, or using the game, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree to the terms of this EULA, do not install or use the game.

    AYTWorld is available through FlatHub and F-Droid.

    The FlatHub version is the main version we will be working on, and if anyone would like to work on an Android version in the meantime, you can do so. But, obviously when we start working on it of course.

    The F-Droid version is the main version for Android that I myself will not be actively maintaining as per two main reasons;

  • Mental Health
  • I find it easy for me to focus on one thing at a time.

  • Community Invlovement
  • I like when the Open Souce Community takes the time out of their day to help a project that they themselves are passionate in constributing too.
